Here it is!
Otello by Louisa Harding. Arms extended by 2 1/2 inches and now just about the perfect length. If there’s one thing I can’t abide, it’s sweaters and cardigans with short arms. Otello’s arms already looked short on the pattern, so I took drastic action…and paid the usual price…worrying that I would have enough yarn to finish, but I did, so it was worth it! What I really like about this cardigan is that although it’s knitted in a bulky wool, it doesn’t feel bulky. So no dreaded sack of potatoes feeling!
The yarn is Lamb’s Pride Bulky (85% wool, 15% mohair) in Blue Magic. Lovely. This time the photo is fairly true to colour – nice, soft, dusky blue.
Can you see I’m wilting in the heat. 32 degrees. Way too hot for a northern girl like me…and what am I doing wearing a warm cardigan. Barmy. The things I do for my blog!
