Christmas Star

Monday, December 10th, 2012

This morning I rattled off my Christmas star table runner….a super-quick project.

I actually managed to spray baste for the first time ever – and it worked well. I finished off with some perle cotton big stitch quilting outlining the shape. This is a super simple project – using charm squares of Joy by Kate Spain. I don’t have enough left over to make another one, but I’m contemplating cutting each 5″ square into four and making some small coasters to match.

I’m hunkering down at home as much as possible today – I’ve been out twice already, but each time got caught in a blizzard on the way home, so I think I’m calling it a day!
