Blue
No, not me…
..my garden every year in early June. Not by design, but I confess that I do always tend towards the purples and blues at the garden centre….
Thank you so much to all of you for your recent comments and support. We are OK. No-one is dying, but there is just a bit too much ‘life’ all coming together at the moment. I’ve worked out that in a month at least some of it will look better…simply because things have to be resolved one way or the other by then.
I’m hanging on in and trying to take time to take pleasure in the little things that make life good.
I hope you are too!

The garden looks lovely and not at all water logged. Have you been spared the flooding that is wreaking havoc in much of Europe?
Before you know it the month will be out and hopefully “life” will be back on a more even keel.

Your garden looks gorgeous – love all those blues!! Mine is supposed to be mostly white with some red but somehow an awful lot of pink has crept in and there is only red on the side fence as my heavy rambler rose has begun to bloom… LOL Loving my big white drumstick alliums, though š And my decimated box have been replaced, yay!
Fingers crossed things ease up soon, take care xx

Your garden is exquisite. Mine’s all blues too – but yours is inspiring. Keep enjoying it while things are unsettled. All the best. X

Beautiful! Your garden looks so lush! It seems it liked all the rain you had recently. And I think it’s a very good plan to just hanging in there. Don’t forget, this too will pass!

Hello. I am trying to catch up with you all! My garden has also been in its blue/purple phase, and it has been lovely. Also entirely not by design! I looked at your photos of the Rhine, and I keep remembering the floods in Engelberg. They are apparently having stunning weather at the moment. unlike here, which has dark angry skies, rain squalls and howling gales. Sigh. I live in hope of summer.
Because Diana is using my sewing room as a bedroom, I am severely hampered creatively. I am pacing. She was away for a week in Switzerland, and I shoved all her stuff out of the way and uncovered the trusty old machine and it was absolute bliss. I can’t start anything big though, because I have no idea when I will be able to get in there again. But I am enjoying having her home – just the two of us for now. And we are giving each other plenty of space. I sincerely hope the sun is shining for you now.I will be back!
